Morning Lift / Small Rant

Thoughts on others' odd behavior today...Or my little rant: 

That guy who is jumping rope in the middle of the bench/dumbbell area... Really? Weird spot dude. Take it to the open space.

Also...the guy who is always deadlifting in front of the squat rack right when I need to squat. Same thing. I know there isn't really a good spot in this particular gym for deadlifts, but right at the squat rack isn't the best choice when there is only one squat rack, enough bars to go around, and plenty of other open space with mirror views you could use for deadlifting. He's been polite enough when I ask if it's okay for me to use the rack...but he also thought it was fine to use this as a "work-in" situation, and didn't move his bar. So I was essentially squatting with my rear headed into his deadlifting space. Granted he wasn't deadlifting at the moment (or he would have been doing it directly behind me, facing my backside) but you'd think he would just move away altogether recognizing he's messing up the squat rack area. People are weird.

And finally...multiple dudes who think it's okay to block the actual dumbbell rack while lifting. Every time I lift I encounter several. I do NOT get that! Why would you possibly think it's okay to lift directly over the rack and not leave space for others to get the weights you aren't using? I am always polite, but not afraid to excuse myself as I dart in for a weight. Lame-ness. (These types clearly don't think everything through, because they seem to be those who also skip leg day.)
